Treasure Sleuth is operated by MELA Technologies.

Treasure Sleuth lists yard sales, garage sales, and flea markets in the United States only. Listings, search, and posting are available only for locations within the US; addresses outside the US are not accepted.

Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of what they post. We review every listing before it goes live, but we don't verify addresses, inventory, or a host's right to sell what they list.

Prohibited: firearms, animals, alcohol, and other regulated items in listing categories; off-site payment redirects or pre-sale deposit requests; stolen photos; listings that exist only to drive traffic to an unrelated business.

Flea market listings entered by the site operator from public information can be removed on request — see Contact us.

Signing up for email alerts is opt-in and requires confirming via a link we email you. Every alert email includes a one-click unsubscribe.

No warranty

Treasure Sleuth is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. MELA Technologies doesn't warrant that listings are accurate, that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any sale, item, or flea market described on the site actually exists as described.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MELA Technologies from any claim, demand, loss, or legal expense — including reasonable attorneys' fees — arising out of or related to: (a) content you submit, including a listing's address, description, or photos; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any law or the rights of a third party. This includes, without limitation, a claim arising from posting a listing at an address without the authorization of whoever lives there.

Termination

MELA Technologies may remove any listing, restrict access, or terminate your ability to use the site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason — including a violation of these Terms or a request made through the address-removal process described above. The sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including indemnification and the warranty disclaimer above) continue to apply after termination.

No scraping

Automated scraping, harvesting, crawling, or bulk downloading of listings — including addresses, schedules, or photos — is prohibited without MELA Technologies' prior written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MELA Technologies' total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the site is limited to $100. MELA Technologies is not liable for any consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. This limitation doesn't apply to claims that applicable law doesn't allow to be limited, such as those arising from gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Dispute resolution

Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the site will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court. The arbitration will be conducted in Pennsylvania before a single arbitrator. You and MELA Technologies each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
